What Is STAR DRIVERS?

STAR DRIVERS is a fresh, professional, and reliable Driving School focused on preparing new drivers to be safe on the roads ahead. We are fully qualified and trained to instruct students, making them more than ready for their driving test.

Who Are We?

As a Driving School, STAR DRIVERS believe that the student is the priority when learning to drive. We also understand that everyone learns differently, which is why we pride ourselves on adapting our teaching methods to make learning more enjoyable + beneficial for our students.

After training + successfully qualifying as a ADI, I have set up my own independent driving school in Somerset. Being a qualified teacher in FE (Further Education) I have extensive knowledge and experience teaching adults.

Learning to drive + pass your test = FREEDOM! No more waiting for buses or paying taxi fares! Independence to get yourself to wherever you need to be.

Qualifications

I carried out my training with Smart Driving during the COVID pandemic of 2020/21 I successfully passed all parts (1,2 +3) first time and hold the Green Octagon Badge. I qualified as a FE Teacher (Further Education) in 2004 and taught in prisons for 17 years. I also hold an Assessors Award and taught NVQ’s within prison environments. I am well versed in teaching learners with a variety of learning styles to suit individual needs. The DVSA monitor Instructors success data over a 12 month period to ensure effectiveness of training.
